By using proprietary methods, Core Energy is able to generate exploratory prospects with extremely high levels of accuracy.  These technologies greatly assist Core Energy in determining the likelihood of a recoverable gas and/or oil reserve and how to best recover it.   

Key to Core Energy's innovative exploration is the extensive use of 3-D seismic technology.  3-D seismic data allows Core Energy to identify possible targets with greater accuracy than previous methods and also lets Core Energy have a better knowledge regarding where to drill.  This is especially important in Michigan where the reefs are very tall and narrow, and an exploratory well a few yards off could make all of the difference between success and failure.  Below is a 3-D seismic example that allows the viewer to see how 3-D seismic gives a much better idea of what the reef is like as compared to a 2-D view.  The detail shown of the reefs allows the viewer to better analyze and understand the reef.
